Retailsphere Adds New Social Features Building on Promise to be the Place CRE Pros Connect

October 29, 2021

New trending retailers, trending categories, and local “People You May Know” help users connect more quickly within the CRE industry.

Retailsphere has released new social features within its platform to help users connect more quickly with retailers, shopping centers, brokers, and specific platform users that could lead to quicker deal making and improved industry relationships.

As Retailsphere’s platform has grown to include new CRM functionality and outreach automation, it became clear that customers were looking for more than just industry-leading data, but also a place to connect with people within the industry too.

With that in mind, Retailsphere has launched several new key features around social interaction and connectivity as part of its mission to be the place “where retail real estate connects.” A few of these features include:

  1. Trending Retailers and Categories: When users access the platform, they now get a quick snapshot of retailer categories and specific retailers that are trending within the platform. This can help surface retail concepts to users that may have otherwise gone unnoticed.
  2. People you may Know: Similarly, users will now see a list of local landlords, developers, tenant reps and leasing agents to connect with that can help close deals faster.
  3. Recent Expanding Retailers List: Expanding retailers are always the biggest topic of interest for Retailsphere users, and as a result, a list of Expanding Retailers that have been verified by Retailsphere’s concierge research team to be expanding in that user’s geographic region are now on the initial landing page within the app.

Across the board, these new features are meant to make it easier and quicker for users to find and connect with others in the retail real estate industry, ultimately allowing for more deals to be found and successfully closed using the Retailsphere platform.
