Account Executive

About the Account Executive Position:

RetailSphere is looking for energetic self-starters who are seeking an opportunity of a lifetime. You'll help the retail and retail commercial real estate industries grow by managing a robust pipeline of opportunities from demo through closing.

You'll have outstanding people and rapport building skills.  You know how to connect with people and understand you are there to help them solve a problem.  You have been told throughout your life you have good people skills.  Generally speaking, other people have always enjoyed your company.

You will understand or learn how to shepherd a prospect through a basic discovery conversation.  Tailor an online product demonstration that solves the prospect's problems in a compelling way while building trust and creating rapport and lasting relationships.  You will practice feature-benefit selling.

You will know or learn multiple closing techniques and how to implement them in an authentic and transparent fashion that is appreciated by your prospects.

You will know or learn how to track dozens of opportunities utilizing the RetailSphere CRM and marketing automation tools (yes, we "eat our own dogfood") in such a way that deals do not "fall off" or "slip through the cracks".

You will be great at follow-up, uncovering the decision-making processes for various companies and continuously moving the firm along that process in a trusted and efficient manner.

Furthermore, most of your territories will be greenfield.

Qualifications:

  • Be highly money motivated and eager to grow in your sales career.
  • Great people and rapport building skills.
  • A history of building trusted professional relationships.
  • Successful experience selling subscription software and/or B2B sales a strong plus.
  • Hunter Mentality, results drive, and desire to win is a must.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
